Default Smoked windshield???

Anyone have a smoked windshield on their Road King or Heritage? How do you like it? Is it bothersome at night? Thanks in advance.

I have a light smoked on in my bike. I like it. It is no bother at night time.

I put a smoked windshield on my Street Glide and it was great...until I rode it at night. Had to order a lite smoked one. You could see with the dark one at night but not very good or at least not good enough for me to feel good about having on there. I ordered the lite smoked and have no problems. So...if all you do is daytime riding, go for the dark. If not, just be careful!

I have a lightly smoked Clear View shield. I look over the top of it when riding but looking down through it at night is not a problem. As stated, it is a very lightly smoked shield and I do not even notice any difference as compared to a clear one.

I had a rather dark shield on my RK and I loved it - That said, I was looking over it "generously" - I wish I could tell you what the height was...

As long as you can look over the light tint shield not a bothersome looking thru it at night on un familiar road could be a problem.I had to cut mine shorter to solve that issue.

I have a KW 16" tinted flare on my RG and it's not too bad at night.

I had a 14" dark tinted windshield but eventually got rid of it because I couldn't see through it a night and its short length lifted the bugs just high enough to smash them into my face.

I have a smoked on my Street Glide, never been a problem because I always look over it. If I had to look through it it may cause a bit of a problem in the night time.
