It should work!
I have mine permanently attached to the inside of my outter fairing just above my headlight. I also used to have it attached to the inner top of my tour pak.
Try with it in your lower fairing glovebox by going through the manual lane and see if the light goes on.
Give it a try...

Make sure you register your license plate with the IPass site that way if it doesn't register they'll get you that way...
Now that that's been said, if you keep to the edges of the lane the IPass won't pick up and if you have a tour pak the camera can't see your license plate but if you have everything registered and get pulled over you can claim you weren't trying to avoid paying, OR SO I'M TOLD.

She had no comment....she said to make sure his plates were registered.

I *store* mine in the upper lid of the right bag -- Triggers the off-ramp/slow speed lanes, but not the high speed lanes - Also didn't work out east (West Virginia, if I recall).
But it *does* work fine in the shield bag (T-Bags). So if I know I'm going to be on the tollway, I just pop it in that pocket and go.
