It might but all you have to do is goin your fuse block and pull the instrment panal fuse and the odometer will not work on these bikes

Wow. Not good.

If you are going to trailer your bike regularly, get a proper trailer.

If you are thinking about getting one of these for emergencies - take the $300 you would spend, call a buddy with a full size pickup truck and have him pick you up, buy him dinner, and fuel up the truck! Much less dangerous!

Just look at what is being towed in the video and all your questions will be answered. This is wrong on many many levels!
Cant wait to get the bike rear ended because no tail lights are on....but then again I think this would be the least of your worries!
Three words in summary...WTF?

No way would I trust this setup!!! I might know your thinking though? You hate to spend a lot on a trailer and have it sit in the yard most of the time.

I don't have pictures of it now, but when I had my Dyna, I went to Northern Tool and bought a 4X8 Trailer they had on sale around 399.00 It had rails about 15 inches high and expanded metal floor. I took it to a Buddy who had a welder. We cut an opening in the center of the front railing and welded braces down, I ran a wheel chock up through the opening far enough to get my tonque wt right, I bolted a square piece of aluminum plate for the rear tire to sit on. It had 12 inch tires. It proved to be a reliable trailer when I needed it. I only had about 450.00 in it. I sold it when I sold my Dyna.

Just think about what you're towing with it. Cheap bike, cheap trailer. What's your bike worth to you?

Also, I think this defeats the purpose. Now you're not riding the bike, but you're still putting the miles on your back tire. Stupid.

Maybe if I owned that V-Star in the pic and wanted to get rid of it in a hurry.

I would not use is. For $300 you can find a doable trailer on Craig's that will get the whole bike off the road and properly strapped down

or just use the towing insurance from your HOG membership, AAA membership, vehicle insurance . . . or pay the tow truck $50
