Finally bit the bullet. Gonna swap my leathers for a pair of hard ones. Had a hard time deciding between the straight pewter pearl that comes on the SG or the pinstriped version on the EGC.

Paid the extra dough and went with the pinstriped bags to compliment the accent stripe on my 2009 RKC. Having them provide locks to match my key as well.

I tried to order them from Chicago HD, but after emailing them three times, got no answer. So I placed my first order with Zanotti's. They were super responsive, helpful and patient.

I can only hope they arrive sooner vs. later!

I'll take some before and after photos once they arrive.

I'd been looking for used bags for sometime, walked in a indy yesterday and there was a set. they are now mine just need to have them painted, pewter pearl also.

 

Yes, pewter pearl bags are pretty hard to find - been looking for awhile now, gave up hope and went straight to the factory.
