THe 103 kit comes with 66077 mufflers. I think those have a cat in them. Do they? Will that be a problem with the headpipe cats that the 10's already have in there?

 

So, just found out from the dealer that these mufflers do have cats in them. He was willing to swap them out for some other muffler. Decided to go with the Fatshotz version.

I was surprised that hadn't checked that you when he sold me the kit. I hope they put the correct download in the bike......

 

Why not buy the non-street-legal Stage II kit #29893-07A? It has no mufflers in the kit.

The dealer threw in this as part of the incentive to make the sale. I think this will work out ok. I did the kit you mentioned in my 08 and put the Monster OVals on it. This kit work fine and the Vance and hines MO were fine. The only complaint I had about them was that I would find myself dragging them on corners on occassion.

So, we'll try these Fatshotz and see how they work and sound.

I wasn't going to trade my 08 in, but there was so much thrown in with this deal that I decided to go with it.
