Bought a left over 2009 Electra Glide Standard a few weeks ago. Only two issues I have are heat and what I would describe as "abrupt" throttle operation. In the old days when I had carbed bikes throttle response was smooth and linear. On the new one its more like a light switch. It's either on or off. If you hit a bump and your wrist flexes there is an instantaneous change in RPM. If I put on a tuner of some sort to richer the mixture a bit, will this help smooth out the throttle operation or is this just a characteristic of EFI on a bike?
I wonder if there's any difference between '09 and '10 models. I've not found the throttle by wire to be that distracting. If there is a difference is there a firmware/software revision that can be downloaded?
I have an 08 EGUC with TBW and I don't have any issues with it. I would ask how many hours do you have riding this bike and you may want to give it little time to get use to it. I have a tuner on mine, but only for a few extra ponies and due to add ons. I love the way mine ride.

I don't know about other tuners, but with my TTS Mastertune you can remove the delay in the throttle by wire.
I have an 09 SG and have not had this problem with my TBW either before or after my PCV installation. I would say you may have a problem with your throttle position sensor inside the right grip. Have your dealer check it and possibly replace it under warranty.
My TBW responds very similarly to any cable operated scoot I've owned.
I recommend you direct this question to HogDoc and Iclick.
Thanks for the reference, but I can't help since my bike is TBC. I would recommend the OP to call Fuel Moto for assistance, as they sell most tuners and give balanced advise.
