Congrats and welcome to the "metric conversion" club. I went from a Vulcan 900 to a Road King last spring, and still can't get the grin off my face!!

My brother in law let me take his RK for a ride years back.. That's what made me decide to go FL!!!

Welcome to the money pit. This forum is going to lighten your wallet. 04 RK custom and still love it. I still have the stock bars on but have been mulling over ape hangers.

My seasoned parts guy states that the Klock Werks Ergo bars are the most comfortable bars he has ever had. Pricey but only do it once, Heritage bars were also the favorite choice and less money. Both use stock cables & wires which saves headach's.

Congrads on getting a Harley at young age. Still bugs me I didn't buy my uncle's 52 Pan for $175 at 16.

Welcome aboard. nice choice!! very versatile RK I too have a 2005 FLHRSI I wasn't really into the look of the "newer Harleys" Was going to buy a Softail unti I saw the RK Custom model enjoy the ride!!!

You'll have an Utra by 22 hehe. the RK is a nice Harley starter bike.
