Call before you go visit.

Let the manager know that if the paperwork ain't ready when you get there, the deals off and you can go to another stealership and get your 07.

Sounds like the lady needs a kick in the azz.

I don't know what the rules are in your state, but here they can't register it without insurance. Also, if there is a lein on it, they won't release it without insurance. Kick your insurance guy in the nadz and get the paperwork in!

Enjoy the ride!!!

If you traded a bike for this bike and you had insurance on the first bike, there is a 30 day switch over, or at least that is how my policy worked, when I traded for the King. In fact I called my agent with the VIN on the purchase day. All was cool.

My bike is being repurchased. My insurance company was more than happy to oblige my request. Problem is that the insurance was transferred from the bike I own ( old bike ) to the one sitting at the dealership. Now my bike has no insurance. The person at the dealership insisted that it be done Thursday, and then refused to give me the bike due to a lack of paperwork on her part. I mean, it is raining felines and canines here, but still....

I probably should not fuss too much, being as how it is no actual cost to me, but I have fussed more than a lions share about the incompetence of this dealership. What if I had plans to go to Sturgis? I actually did have an all expenses paid invite, but graciously passed due to being potentially motorcycle-less. As it seems I may very well be.

One thing I know for sure.....IF I ever get this bike away from the dealership.....it will never darken the doors of Rocket HD of Madison, Al...or Foster HD of Tuscumbia, Al!

Sounds like you are doing the right thing, I glad to hear you are getting a new bike in place of the one you had with the problems.
