I don't have them but I rode a bike that did and it was nice! Especially if you ride a lot in cold weather. It also had a heated seat which was nice also. It was a CVO Ultra by the way. Will spoil you real quick.

I have a heated seat and just ordered some
heated grips as I am wanting something a
little warmer than my battery heated glove
liners. I am anxious to get them in and get
them on and working.

Let me know what you think of them. Did you buy from HD? Which ones?

Thanks

I've had mine for 8,000 or so miles and think it's the most practical thing I've bolted on. They're on at least 60% of the time. Got a HD set, forget the name, that has a chrome strip running across the grip at the fingers. Only downside with them is the strip can get too hot without gloves.

I don't have them. But would like to.

But do some searching on this forum and you'll find lots of people have had them and they croak on you after a while. And since H-D warranty is something like 90 days on products not installed when you buy the bike, you're out the money.

You will get people who disagree with this statement but.... It was the worst money I ever spent. They worked well for about one year and then I drove 10 hours in a downpour on my way back from the Keys. The moisture fried the electronics in the left grip (the one that contains the controls) and they have not worked since. Another left grip is about $125 plus the pain to replace it. I have since gone to Gerbing heated gloves and jacket liner. I am now a happy camper.

I do not have them but the three guys I know that do loved them till they took a ****, which it seems they are known to do. One tried to have them fixed under warranty as they were installed at purchase, still was charged $125 to fix. They all three told me to stay away from H.D. Other brands may be O.K.

Heat Demons are less than 1/2 the price of HD heated grips at my dealer and from what I hear and read on the forum, more reliable.

Default Heated Grip

I installed the Heat Demons on my bike and it works great; I like the fact that I could use any grip I wanted - not just what Harley Davidson offered in their heated selection. Kit cost around $140.00 and took about 3 hours to install.
