Wouldn't heated gloves make more sense? Two grip sets failed on my bike before they just gave me my money back. Only reason I had them was that is the way bike came and it was a long time ago.
Ever year, the say they make things better. Haa. If I believe that, Harley's could fly and last forever?

Not for riding in the fall or spring you wouldn't want to be wearing big clunky heated gloves. Nice 65/70* days and then 40* nights - it's great to just turn on the grips when you need a little warmth.
In 2005 I went to Sturgis and then to the Canadian National HOG Rally in Saskatoon. It was 90* when I left Sturgis and when I got to Saskatoon it was 30* and drizzly. Was real glad I had heated grips. They do come in handy.
I've had H-D heated grips on every Harley I've owned since 2003 and have never had a problem with them.
Sometimes you get a lemon or two. I've been pretty lucky.
