i have thought of trading in my 08 RK standard for an Electraglide Classic. It would cost me too much.Had a long think about it and realize I really like my bike the way it is.Haven't done alot to it but it's mine.If I ever need more luggage space I will get something like a Bikerfriend bag .Enjoy your bike. They are all great rides.

Good decision. Now live with it. Don't second guess yourself, and wonder and worry about whether you made the right one. Just enjoy it, polish it, and ride the tires off that thing. You've got a great looking bike, it just needs some miles together with you to make the marriage complete.

Seems unanimous huh? Ride, ride, ride! think about all the places you can go using the 5-6,000 you just saved.

I get that feeling sometimes also. Next couple of weeks I'm going on some demo rides just to have fun. Plus plan on taking a friend along so he can demo.

But yesterday, I got on our '07 EGC and went about 45 miles just riding along and realized that I'm happy with it. I might do some minor upgrades to engine sometime in future but no way do I feel like trading.

Yep, I am in the same boat - have made some posts here about trading my Street Glide and have gotten the same advice. Here is my view point, which always subject to change: if I were to get a good trade deal and a good deal on a new bike, I may be swayed. I am not going to accept a low ball offer. Look at it this way - we as buyers hold all the cards - get a good deal or walk and enjoy what we are currently riding.
