In January my totally touring prepared 2007 Road Glide got totalled by a nice lady in a Dodge truck.
In March I bought a Limited and love it. Just came back from a ride to the Gulf and the hill country to see the flowers. Me and the head cook pulling a Kwik Kamp camper(heavy!) Took about 2000 miles and my observations are that if you had a Road Glide before you will not like the fairing. Its too high and heavy on the handle bars. Not that its bad, only a matter of likes and dislikes. Had to get used to the cornering with the wide tire in the back before scraping the footboards. The 07 fell into corners better but maybe its the heavy fairing again. The electronic throttle scared me shitless a few times on slow corners when it takes that moment of lag and you think you are going to fall over. Never had a heat issue and use Mobil 1 20-50 and the oil pressure never came down due to heat. Very comfortable and will go over 100 mph with trailer an 2 up. Handles great, loads like any thing out there and looks good. Seat is good , Im 5'9, speakers good up to about 75, got about 35 mpg on the trip. If it is a tourer you want, Bring Your Check book.

Just got back from a 1000 mile trip this week. One day of heat about 95*, the rest mild rain, heavy rain, light sleet cold weather, 70 mph winds, (yes 70 MPH). Didn't stay on the road long with that type of wind. The bike handled well, never had a bit of problems, but I did have a few pucker moments from past experiences. Love the bike. I have added an adjustable backrest, PCV, Stage 1 AC, and Jackpot exhaust. The Stage 1 and Jackpot just tonight after I got back from the trip, and am anxious to see how it will run after that.
