Talking 10K on my 2010

Though I have had other bikes this is the first time that I felt the need to track mileage. <shrug>

I picked up the bike in Kingman, AZ on 8-1-2009 with 8 miles on the odometer and today when I pulled into the garage it clicked 10,020. I probably could have done it a month ago but work had me in California for a number of weeks plus there was a two week vacation back in Oct.

Using my iPhone app 'Road Trip' I know the following usefull/stupid information.

Average MPG : 40.8
Best MPG : 51.7
Worst MPG : 27.0
Amount Spent on Fuel : $728.72
Per Day Fuel Costs : $3.49
Cost of Fuel Per Mile : $0.073
Highest Price paid for Fuel : $3.27 Gallon

Fuel Estimates:
35.75 Gallons Monthly
428.94 Gallons a Year
$106.13 a Month
$1,273.52 a Year

I believe that mine was the only Scarlet Red that Route 66 Motorsports had at the time. When I first saw it they had it front of the service counter which is towards the rear of the building.

Since I received so many Thank You notes and other correspondences from the dealership I was going to send them one letting them know the bike hit 10K and to thank them for their service and making the purchase so easy. ... such a nice guy I am.

That's what I like to see. Someone who actually rides a bike! Not someone with a 5 year old bike with 1200 miles. on it.

just rolled 11,000 on my 2010 Road King.

Hope to have 15,000 after Daytona, leaving Monday.

Thought I'd have more but it's been damn cold here this Winter.

Put 10,221 on my heritage from may 09 to oct 09, and traded monday for a new Ultra. Hope to get in 15k+ this year.

You are lucky. Been waiting for this darn white stuff to melt so I can get mine back out. Bike looks good, like the seat.
