Looked at some some 07's today...noticed that the oil filler spout is recessed pretty far down in the engine, gonna be hard to top 'em off without a funnel?

The sales guy said "Just leave the oil changes up to the tech's".

By that analogy owners should have their bikes brought in to top off the oil between oil changes?[sm=confused06.gif]

 

Will need funnel and thick glove...

 

I noticed the same thing. In a pinch, like on the road, you can make a funnel from a couple of peices of 8"x12" copy paper.........I know, I know, poor engineering and all that, but it'd work just the same.

 

The 07 oil spouts are also threaded for a dipstick with a screw cap instead of a friction fit. With 3 or 4 full turns, your fingers will be well-done by the time you get the filler cap off.
