saddle bag power?
I know someone has had to do this, I need to run power to one of my saddle bags similar to the similar post on this forum talking about power to the tour pack. Has anyone done this? I was thinking I could plug into my battery tender with a power accessory that will leave me with a female end of a cigarette lighter plug. Anyone done anything different?
thanks!

It would not be difficult to do. My '09 Ultra Classic has the lighted spoilers on the saddlebag lids. There is an electrical lead that goes through a rubber grommet in the inside wall of the saddlebags. Between the saddlebags and the bike are small connector so that the saddlebags can be removed.

Get two of those, drill a small hole in saddlebag, use grommet, hook up to battery or ACC Switch connector in front of battery.
This is how I'm powering my satellite radio that's mounted in my saddle bag.

Powerlet:

I wanted to be able to charge my mobile phone while riding so I got one of Powerlet's kits like this and a cigarette adapter. It went into the left saddlebag of my RKC, doesn't take up enough space to be concerned with because of the design of the bags, is weatherproof and easily disconnects when I pull the bags of to clean the bike.
