Registration for my 03 was $120. No inspection in Ca. And I hope it stays that way.

I thought I was the only one who shared trailer plates.I have two boat trailers, motorcycle trailer, two utility trailers. It really gets expensive.

Here in PA, Inspection is $20, Tags $18 for bikes. BUT my 08' Ford F-450, Tags $288 and inspection $50. But if I had my truck "listed" with the Max payload my Tags would be $400. I kind of "fudged" what I'm claiming to weigh in Maxed out.

In Indiana for 2009 I paid $175 for the plate renew for my 2006 Road King. No inspection here. For that we get some of the finest pot-holes in the roads around.

In Missouri it cost 12.50 for inspection, good for two yrs. I believe my bike tags cost me 24.00 for 1 year. We have the option of 2 yrs now. Inspections are due on even/odd year depending on year of vehicle. And like most, inspections for most part are a joke. Takes longer to do the paperwork than the inspection. Missouri has been trying for years to do away with it, but it is a cash pig for the transportation department(of course they use the money for helmet surveys).

OK doesn't have inspections either. Registration fee is based on the age of the vehicle. Older it is, the cheaper the registration is. Mine was $94 this year which included a mandatory new plate. After its 5 years old, it drops to $84-ish and so on.
