Find your local truck stop.
There you'll find a few guys that polish those large Semi rims.

They could probably polish them out for you cheaply.
They do it all day long on rims on the truck.
If you bring them the wheel, should be a breeze..

i am currently working on some wheels and figured i would pop in and show what we are doing.
just got done polishing the lips on the wheels, from here they will be powdered black in the centers and spoke areas. then the WHOLE wheel will be cleared with an accrilic clear so that the owner will not have to worry about upkeep on the polish areas



basicly this but instead of silver it will be polished

what kind of paint or coating is on the spoke part of the rims from the factory? I want to polish my edges and not sure how sensitive the black painted parts will be to the polishing wheel and rouge.

 

Take both your wheels and have them polished by a pro. It's cheap to have done around here. It would take them 15 minutes a wheel. Maybe run you $30-$40. After they are polished they are much easier to take care of. That's what I did anyway. Oh and have them do your rotors at the same time.
