i am currently working on some wheels and figured i would pop in and show what we are doing.
just got done polishing the lips on the wheels, from here they will be powdered black in the centers and spoke areas. then the WHOLE wheel will be cleared with an accrilic clear so that the owner will not have to worry about upkeep on the polish areas
basicly this but instead of silver it will be polished

Take both your wheels and have them polished by a pro. It's cheap to have done around here. It would take them 15 minutes a wheel. Maybe run you $30-$40. After they are polished they are much easier to take care of. That's what I did anyway. Oh and have them do your rotors at the same time.
