LOL why PM you when I can come and see you, hehe you just ordered my cable yesterday and you're doing the change out, I hope you didn't forget to order the wires extension kit.

it looks very much like Carlini so far but I will let you know in a couple of days which way I'm going on the bars hoping to get more feed back in this thread, no one has answered my exact question yet but the feedback is helping, and thanks everyone for the feedback much appreciated.

Sorry in advance but my 16" flyin apes fit great, about 3 1/2 inches between the shield. I'm 6' with a sundowner seat my grips and the base of the bars match the line of the forks. Try calling carlini they were very helpful when I ordered my bars. I think the answer to your question depends on where you set the bars.

Well after almost a week of pondering and sleepless nights I've decided to go with the Fly'in apes 18" tall 1.5 thick, I bought the Road king riser as well, DrVtwin is gonna do the change out for me, I think the guys at DrVtwin will be posting some pics with their High end digital camera.

I dunno how to post those thumnbail pics, anyway there are some pics of the new apes in my album right now if you want to check them out, and I'm gonna try to post one here let's see if it shows up. I also want to take the time and thank the folks at Dr.V-twin for there superb service and treatment, folks I am a very hard to please customer, I'm one of those you don't want in your shop because I know a little about mechanics if you know what I mean, and I dunno how those guys tolerated me lol, they are the nicest guys in the world, they got me the best deal on the parts, and gave a killer deal on the labor, and to add icing on the cake I found a little surprise on my bike a pair of kick *** screaming eagle mirrors, courtesy of Ali, their mechanic takes his time telling you what he would like to do for your bike and discuss options with you and best of all he takes pride of his work.
I would never take my bike any were else. two thumbs up
