Admitting that you were arguing to the death against a fix being possible - when you ain't never tried a fix.

Those that argue about stuff they know nothing about - look like asses.

If you don't see a problem with a clunk, that warrants a comment from you that you "don't see a problem with a clunk".

But for you to argue for page after page that "this can't possibly cure it" when you ain't ever even tried the cure - says that you are arguing about something you know nothing about.

So again, thanks for admitting it.

darn I woke up this morning and realized I bought my bike used and maybe it already has the hyd. tentioner in it , maybe that is why it shifts better than any other bike I have owned , now to keep this going should I try to get the clunk back

 

The former owner likely has your chain adjusted properly, along with the clutch adjusted properly. Should be a manual adjuster on that bike and they can be dialed in better than the newer HD auto adjusters.
