Admitting that you were arguing to the death against a fix being possible - when you ain't never tried a fix.

Those that argue about stuff they know nothing about - look like asses.

If you don't see a problem with a clunk, that warrants a comment from you that you "don't see a problem with a clunk".

But for you to argue for page after page that "this can't possibly cure it" when you ain't ever even tried the cure - says that you are arguing about something you know nothing about.

So again, thanks for admitting it.

Holy Crap I didn't intend to start WW3!!!
Ain't that somethin'???? You come and share your new find, hoping to help someone out,.... and they Lynch you to a tree for it. He he!
"How dare you cure the clunk!". "Your fix can't possibly work!"

Much better off posting about which jacket is more stylish.
After all, this is a "tech" forum ya know,....

Got the feeling you ruined the bike by making the shifts quieter??? At least for some here. Shame on you, shame, I say

Maybe next time you will leave your bike in neutral.

Go back and read my replies, Ed. Not once did I make this claim. You got that, pal, not once. I never said it would or wouldn't work. You've proved yourself to be a paranoid ***, Ed. Now admit that, chucklehead.

I will admit that I'm not fixing something that isn't broken! You got THAT, Ed?

You posted over and over about something,.... WTF
And it was arguing against me the op and our fix for the clunk.

I'm scared to ask, just what is it that you are claiming to have been arguing about?

Too tired of this **** to go back and analyze it.

Please don't say that your endless attacks have been not arguing about anything. Please don't say that. You argued about something. What? What was it?

I think I'm going to bed early tonight. You are giving me a headache.

darn I woke up this morning and realized I bought my bike used and maybe it already has the hyd. tentioner in it , maybe that is why it shifts better than any other bike I have owned , now to keep this going should I try to get the clunk back

The former owner likely has your chain adjusted properly, along with the clutch adjusted properly. Should be a manual adjuster on that bike and they can be dialed in better than the newer HD auto adjusters.
