Best harley made (period)!! Great handling slow, fast, corners anywhere. No buffeting behind trailer trucks like the bat wing models.

Why would the faring cause a jack knife? I have logged 30+k on classics with batwing and never even had anything like that happen. I would think if any would it would be the batwing with the added weight on the turning front end. Anybody else ever have this happen?

Ok...I hate to be the party pooper here but I sat on an '06 RG at the dealer today.....never sat on one before.

I have to say that I'm not very thrilled with the fairing so far away! You have ti look quite a ways....just to see the road it seems.....almost like sitting in a car. But like anything I guess you'd get used to it. I'll have to rent one.

Funny you say that beacause being used to my RG, when I sit on an E glide I feel cramped in like everything is too in my face. I guess it just depends what your used to. It is a bit of a reach for the stereo.
One thing I noticed when I first bought my RG is the reach to the handlebars is a little further than on most bikes. It actually caused some discomfort between my shoulder blades on long rides. Well, I thought I wanted to replace the handle bars but I kept putting it off until I got used to the riding position and now Im comfortable and dont even want new bars anymore. Ive heard other people complain about the same thing and replaced the bars, finding the new bars too uncomfortable on the wrists, so Im glad I didnt switch.

Don't know anything about jacknifing a RG. First rule is not to overload you a&& while riding. I've done figure eights in a two lane and never had a problem. Still the best bike going

I really like the way the RG's look with the shark nose fairing and all, until I rode one, don't like the dash layout, don't like the gauge pod on the bars and I think the shape from the seat looks like those old Vetter fairings for Honda's. I definately like the batwing fairing better so I bought a SG. Done deal.
