Default Clutch Cable for New Handlebars

I finally got the 515's on my Road Glide and although I did not have to change out my clutch cable, the way it is rerouted it now seems too long. I am planning on ordering some braided cables to dress it up but I think I should order them longer than stock so I can reroute them back the way they belong. Has anyone out there done this that can help me with the new length? How many inches longer than stock should I need?

I would cross reference the 38649-08 clutch cable to whatever braided cable you are looking to get (should be easy if you are going with an HD diamondback cable). Essentially it is about a +3 cable.
