No problem. Will ride like a rigid but nothing will rub if you get the right set up, on the Arnott system that is. I don't know about the others.

When you slam it all the way down it rides like a rigid with no fender rubbing and makes it much easier to back up the bike even for me at 6'2" & 280#. If you've changed your wheel/tire combo from stock, I'd call Arnott & tell them what W/T combo & bike you have and they'll set you up with what you need. Have never had a air leak problem even if the bike sits several days (rarely!). My wrench put the left hand switch housing off an Ultra & used the CB control switch for compressor control. VERY SLICK! Very happy Arnott customer here!
Hey, thanks for all the info. I got a RKC so I want the 13" because I'm tall like you. I got the 09 model so it has the fat tires, etc. I'll stay with stock because I like it pretty much as it is. Guess I'll add the Arnott system to my list.

Yes. Arnott told me if I ever changed to larger wheels they would change them to 13s for free. Really nice system. Finding a good place for the manifold and the relays for a clean install was a challenge.

Hi-Low system here since 5/06. Never a problem and the only one with a Lifetime Warranty.

Bilsteins here. Did'nt see a reason for the 11 rebound settings of the Aldans, plus saved some coin!

Have to say one of the best mods I have done to the bike. Pushing back is a breeze now that I can slam it down.
