I have a C&C solo seat without a backrest. I know, not smart, but I thought I would never use it, now I want one for short trips like 100 miles or so. Question. Has any one seen a detachable rack with backrest for solo rider that uses the HD Docking hardware? I have an 09 SG.

 

You could check www.motherwellproducts.com - I don't think anyone makes a rack with a backrest for a solo.

This one is for a Corbin Solo but it just uses the 2 studs sticking out of the fender so it seems like it would work. You could ask them.

 

Thanks for the reply I will check them out. I believe I've gotten myself in a tough spot that can only fixed by throwing lots of money at it with a one off custom project.
