Default RKC with 16" front vs RK with 17" front

Does the 2010 RK with a larger front wheel have different (better or worse) handling charateristics than the 2010 RKC with the 16" front wheel? I am interested in these two bikes and wanted to get any feedback on this.

It's all aesthetics, I believe they kept the 16" on the RKC for "looks" and keeping with the vintage styling with the WWW tires.

I can say that my 10 SG handles like a sport bike compaired to my 05 RK Cust. Best thing to do would be to test ride them both for yourself.

I would expect that due to the newer frame and the 16 vs 18 inch wheel. I am just wondering if the 16 vs 17 has any differences. Thank you, Brent.

I have an 09 RKC with the 16" wheels, and my dad has an 09 RK with the 17" wheels... Riding them back-to-back, I can't tell any difference from a handling perspective that I don't feel is related to his 18" apes.

I would think that common sense would tell you the 17" front tire along with mag wheels allows you to have more ground clearance and push it harder into the corners. This allows you to capitalize on the more ridged frame, engine mounting system, and greater ground clearance. Its my first Harley but I've been impressed with my 2009 FLHR performance in the corners. When pushing it hard it out performs the old frame and engine mounting system. And I was told that by folks running 06,07, and 08 FLH models.
