I've had a rider and passenger AirHawk that I've owned for several years that I used for my VTX1800C--never had a problem with them and would highly recommend them. I'm actually finding the stock seat on my '10 Limited pretty comfortable but haven't done a trip of several hundred miles yet. Before I spend $hundreds on a new seat, I'll throw the AirHawks on the Limited and see how they do.

I've had one for a couple of years and no issues. Never put more than 3/4" of air into the bladder and you wont have any problems. I will only use it on long, 800 miles, rides.

by the way I did have a air hawk it was not bad put a pain to remember to take it off when i left the bike and put it back on. Yes it is cheaper than a seat but you will eventtuly get a seat.
PLUS ONE, Check out CORBIN, Hard at first, once used to it you will not ride on anything else.

Be Safe JIM

Default Air Hawk

Two years ago we went from Raleigh to Bar Harbor Maine doing about 500 miles a day. My *** was wore out by the time we got there and worse on the way home. Last year we went to New Orleans and I bought an Airhawk before we left. It was the best money I have ever spent on my bike. The difference between the two trips was like night and day. I thought about the $900 air seat for my Ultra but then decided I could buy a set of slipons and two of the airhawks for the price. It is important to be comfortable if you are going to be doing the long range touring.
