Thanks, I should know something tomorrow. I had that gas cap problem with boat, that might be something to watch for if this does not get resolved.

 

Problem diagnosed as a bad ignition relay. Part will be in on Wed or Thurs and I'll be back in the saddle. After a wash & wax of course.

 

In case anyone is still interested, I know why the ignition relay went out. When the new grips were installed the wires were crimped and finally wore through causing the relay to blow. The techs at Manatee River Harley in Bradenton did a great job and I'm totally confident the problem has been fixed.
