Good deal on FLHP?
Hey guys -- I've been lurking on here a lot looking and learning in plans to get my first Harley; keeping my eyes out for a really good deal.
Is 13,750 a good price for a 2009 Police Road King with 7600 miles. It's one of the best deals I've come across but I was just wondering what some of you might think.
Thanks.

IndyClassic has a valid point, what will they come down to. Are you in the snowed in areas? Perhaps the cold weather dealers may want to move something more. FWIW, my '09 Electra Glide"P" was just under 2 grand more than the one you mention and it was brand new. With ABS. So, it very well might depend on how well Police bikes hold their value in your area. Some are strong and other areas are so-so. Have you considered pricing a new one for comparison? Just a thought.
Best of luck with your decision.

DbbleD.....check the HD website and compare the "standard" equipment for both the civilian road king and the police version....Check N.A.D.A. for pricing...if there is no listing for the flhp, use the standard road king listing as a guideline...where does your cost fall? if possible, take the bike to a dealer and have it checked out.....should still be under warranty (24 months)...the police bikes are the best "bang" for the buck...good luck!

I think it sounds like a good deal. You want to check the brakes and clutch, even with the low miles. If I were in the market, I'd be looking very closely at it.
I don't think that's way out of line. A used e-glide should bring more than the comparable year RK. I would think 1200 to 1500 more than a comparable RK would be reasonable for an 09.
