Default Dan's bagger project

New pics with pinstripes post #26 (8-17-2010)

New pics with bags on post #16. (8-6-2010)

New pictures on post #9. (3-30-2010)

Here are are few pictures of my brother's police bike to custom bagger project. Some and ideas came from here, some from magazines, some from day dreams.

He bought the white 2009 Roadking in November and stripped it to the frame and motor. Sold most of the take off parts on ebay and started buying and building. This is not a big buck build, but we have had to buy some new parts to keep the project going.

It is only about half painted right now and this was not the final assembly, but you will get the idea of where he is going for a look. The stock bars look out of place right now, so if you have an idea, chime in.

Besides the bars, we are still searching for the right bags, floorboards (likely streamliner), front rotors.

He has joined HDForum this week an will hopefully get rolling with some posts on this thread. He is Wisconsin Dan.

Looks good so far. I like the color and that Sinister rear fender. Depending on where he is in WI we are about to get more snow so he has some time yet. lol

We got it rolling on Sunday. There are chrome heat shields for the exhaust that we had off at the time of the test ride.

And the stretched hard bags are still in the shop that will match the stretched rear fender. Otherwise, just a little pin striping, new mirrors, and she is ready.

I will do a parts list later.
