Is the HD center stand configured differently than the wheeldock??

Yes, there are several differences but I have installed many center stands on the new 09/10 bikes with no clearance problems on aftermarket pipes. The only thing you will have to do on some is to move the clamp which makes clearance for the foot in the up position.

Another vote for Wheeldock and Rod. Great product and better customer service. Easy to use. I just steady the bike with the side stand deployed as a backup. Lower the center stand until I feel the two pads touch the ground and than just stand on the lever, up it goes. (Don't forget to release the brake during this process.) Easy to store, load and to mount up before driving off the stand.

Thanks, I have the V&H Power duals in the garage and my wheeldock should be delivered on Thursday. I will tell you that I would sell my V&H would be on ebay before I part with that stand. Had one on my 08 it was the best bank for the buck.!

With all the great input I also went with the EZ up and installed it this week and I love that thing. Install was about 5 min. Took me about 5 times putting it up on the stand then down to get the feel. Now I stand up in the seat push down with a little pull on the bars and up she goes. If your looking for a center stand this is the one to have for sure. Thanks to all for helping me spend more money...

Had a wheeldock on my 04 RK with lowered shocks, different stand for stock shocks and lowered ones. I took it off when I traded for my 09 Ultra Classic. believe me it was great and if it would fit the UC it would be on there right now. It's like new and as soon as I sell it I'll be ordering one for the new bike. Hate to have to hold off but tapped out for cash right now after buying a new bike and adding the handle bars, lower shocks and the new 2010 seat. Don't even think about it, you'll have no trouble putting it on a wheeldock stand, nothing bad to report, had others it's the best. Takes about 15 min. to install.

I also have a Wheedock and it's great but no way can I put the RG on the stand while I'm straddling the bike. Tried many times and I just don't have the leg reach (I'm a shortass) or weight to rock it back up. Still, wouldn't be without it.
