Default Wheeldock center stand and Sears red jack

Don't work together. Problem is there is not enough room from the center stand to the frame front to lift bike. I guess I had to find out for myself. Changed out my front wheel yesterday and ended up having to remove the center stand to accomplish it. Not a big deal since it's only one bolt that holds the stand there. It will be going back on after I recieve and install my rear wheel. I can't imagine being without it.

Just thought I would put it out there for anyone wondering.

I have the wheeldock center and the Sears yellow and it works fine. The red jack is a little higher and you get a clearance problem.

I have the same issue. Its not the clearance but you can't center the jack pads on the frame correctly to get the bike raised evenly. The front end is way up there before the rear end starts lifting.

I guess you could drive the bike up onto some 2x6's, build the front jack pad up with wood 2x4's and then position the back jack pad so it lifts right on the center stand it may work but it a PIA to say the least.

I e-mailed WheelDock about the issue but they never responded.

I wonder if the perches are a little closer on the yellow jack? For me, it's not the height of the jack or bike (my bike is lowered anyways), it's the distance from one perch to the other. Mine might work if I push the envelope, but I don't feel comfortable having the jack that close to the front of the bike where the frame goes up.

Would it be possible to post a pic of yours up in the air and maybe measure from the outside perch to perch?

Red jack has the rails too close and is a bit too hight. J&S jack has wider rails and is lower to start. I use a 3/4" pad on the foreward rail and place the rear rail under the folded up center stand legs. Works great and way more solid than the old jack. Been through your situation and I now conclude that J&S or Pitbull jacks are worth every penny.

I have the EZ-up centerstand and the Red Sears jack and all i do is place a small piece of 1/2" plywood 8"wide X12" long under the rear tire and the Red jack works just fine, and i keep the plywood in the sadle bag for the centerstand for parking in wet grass or dirt.

Like I stated before, it's not the height clearance. It's the perches that are too wide.

R8, I went and checked and the bikeleans towards the back more when up on the stand. I never really notices it because I don't go up all the way. You are right, in order for it to sit properly you would have to remove he center stand.
