Default Chrome switch housing installation

I've been reading the directions and they look a bit daunting because of all the small stuff inside. Still looks doable, though.
I have two questions.
Is there anything to watch out for or any hints to simplify the job?
Is the kit for my '09 the same as for the one with throttle cables but the holes go unused? (The stock housing has no holes.)

A thin, magnetic tip driver to hold the tiny screws is a big help. Also, pulling back the black plastic conduit helps provide a bit more room when assembling the lower housing; replace the black conduit and zip tie per OEM configuration.

Sometimes a good indicator of installation difficulty is ..... what does the dealer charge for the labor on this? If it is an easy task, it should be 1 hour max. Plus, there is added value for the dealer having the laibility for anything that goes wrong.

So........what would a dealer charge to do this?

I installed my own, only to have a warning light come on. Trying to be cheap cost me $300.00 at the stealers Doh. I am fairly good at wrenching, but I blew this one. Good luck and go slow.

Thanks HPM. The rest of you are not inspiring confidence. I may check dealer price before attempting.

Just had this done at the dealer and the labor time was 1 hour. Just like you after reviewing the instructions I decided to pay the $80 and be done with it.
