I had mine installed today, along with replacing the H-D fairing speakers with a set from Hog Tunes. WOW! What a difference. As soon as I hit the road, Layla came on the radio. it never sounded so good. Even talk radio comes through clearly. It will really crank, but I found that the sound is so clean and clear, I don't have to crank it as loudly as I did before. LOVE IT!

curious too.. I put Polk tweets in my RG when I had it and they were incredible. MAJOR difference and NOT costly at all.

 

Absolutely! I can lean forward and hear all four speakers individually. I have lowers coming in next week, and am thinking about putting the Hog Tunes speakers in them, but I cannot imagine it being any better. I have been down in the basement for the last hour listening to the Road Glide stereo. It sounds better than my home system with Bose speakers. Cranking Marshall Tucker and The Outlaws, the bike stereo is awesome, so much better than with the stock speakers.

That's a great price from the Doctor. I had already committed to buying from my dealer, ordering one the day that I heard about them. I paid $179.95 plus TN sales tax. However, I was happy to pay it, as it makes a great difference in the sound quality. I also paid the dealer to install, along with fairing speakers and Heritage-style bars.
