Anybody happen to know what the battery number is? I think I'm going to go ahead and get a spare.

Mark,

im not sure, but don't buy it from a HD store, way over priced. go to walmart, pop the fob and had them the battery and ask for a few replacements. thats what i did after i paid nearly 7 bucks at HD

first thing i did was to set the code write it on a card with the instructions for override with the turn signals ,laminated it and stuck it in my wallet, no more dealin with lost fob dead batteries.

The battery # cr2032, going to the store for some spare's to keep with the bike.
My bike is a 2010 and the battery had 95 printed on it I wonder if that's the production date.

Damn - I still haven't had to change batteries on my 2001 FLSTFI fobs!! These automatic ones are pretty hungry buggers by the sound of it!

thanks for the contributions on this site. my fob has been somewhat intermittent for a few days... after 30 months, i guess a battery is about right.

the previous poster answered the battery number question. i knew i had seen that number SOMEWHERE in the house before.... this morning i took the battery from the bathroom scale. it matched. no telling how long before she notices the scale doesn't have a battery.
