Wouldn't ride without mine. Not the adjustable one but once I got it set right it is great.

I am very comfortable with mine and would not ride solo without it. I would prefer a set of 36's or 38's back there though...

One more vote for the sundowner seat and HD backrest:

It makes a huge difference.

A backrest is a necessity for me on longer rides, and I usually slip it on when the ride is >100 miles. It's a must for trips, but I don't want it on all the time.

Had an adjustable on my RK, and just had the fixed put on my Limited today, was great on the RK, felt a good connection to the bike, liked the pressure, easier to back it up and nice when pointed downhill at a stop, so far new backrest on new bike cool too although I've only ridden a few miles with it so far, but expecting equally satisfying results.

Never ride with one on any of my bikes. Have to test ride bikes with backrests fairly regularly. Don't really dislike them, but never needed one on my scoots. May change with some more years.

I just put one on my Corbin dual tour.Zero miles but quite a bit of garage time.
I think I'm going to LOVE it!

In the past my wife would roll up a spare jacket and hold it on her lap to give me some lower support for long trips.

It could easily be one of the best things I've added for comfort!

I'll find out for sure in August when we take another 3,000mile trip.

It's removable but I think it is going to be permanent!

Depending on how old his old lady is she might be supporting his lower back. My wife is getting close!
