I already have it on my stock fairing but I'm expecting my painted fairing soon which I need to move the dash to it.

I don't have the template and afraid to mess things up

Can't figure out for the life of me, why anyone would install one the HD "pads" for $160.00 instead of adding Hog Tunes for a few buck less and get a better sounding stereo to boot?????

Where do you tap into the sound system when installing a Hogtune kit?

Good Luck!!
Actually we are both wrong in our post on hole size. I went to the garage and got my instruction sheet from Hogtunes. It says to place the triangle template and drill 1/8 pilot holes, then enlarge them to 5/16. You might get away with 1/4 since the template is so precise and the biggest thing you have to push through the hole is the speaker wire connector. I really like the Hogtunes Tweeter Pod, It made a big difference in the stock radio sound.

The kit comes with a three prong plug for both sides. you just unplug your existing speaker wires and plug the three way plug and plug your speakers back into it. Easiest install I ever performed on my scoot.

+1 on the HogTunes tweeter pod. Looks a lot like the dash pad and you get a better sounding stereo as well. Very easy to install.

Have had the HD Dash Pad for a few years now (bought dash pad way before HogPod came out) & just ordered Hog Tunes lower fairing speaker kit & HogPod so will be replacing it. Dont make the same mistake and pay twice!

Looks good, but would've looked better if you would have used the other grill cloth that comes with the Tweeter pod, as then it match your round speaker grills, don't you think? JMO.

It plugs into the back of the speakers or the radio? I am looking at the tweeter pod for the RG and now have ARC mini and 6.5's and was wondering how this would hook into the system. It seems you would need something to separate the highs to send to the tweeters (crossover?).....
