Dakota Digital Oil Temp Gauge part 2
More drama trying to install the Dakota Digital Oil Temp gauge. The prior owner of my 2005 UC had a Rodger McEwan Oil temp gauge on the bike, my problem is that while removing the old sending unit from the oil pan I noticed that its 2 parts. The unit seem to thread into some sort of reducer. I got the sending unit out just fine, but I can't figure out how to get the reducer out. Any thoughts? The pic below shows the brass sending unit already attached to the reducer.
