they don't look bad put them on with a piece of masking tape and see how they light up the area were you want them, if it looks good to you then mount and wire them the proper way

Just bought the blue ones. Going to try to use them for motor accent lights.

led's are dirt cheap. Check with some of the major suppliers, A lot of people will pay 20 dollars for two dollars worth of led's. Granted they are in a holder and pre-wired, but the cost of the led's is not much. Don

Rick,
If they are the "Flex Leds" then yes they are bright aren't they?
I took a whole strip and mounted it right under the lip of the tour pack
and tied it into my break lights! Man they are perfect right there.
I also took two strips about 5-6" long and put them on the saddle bags
and tied those into my blinkers!
Peple always remark how lit up the back of my ULtra is!
Real inexpensive safety mod!
OH! I also took a 3 light strip (you know you can cut these into smaller strips right?)
and them right on the most outer radious of the fairing and also tied them into the blinkers! Now they are sweet! You can even see them from behind and not only on the side of the bike.
See my earlier post! https://www.hdforums.com/forum/5871407-post484.html
Doesn't show the saddle bags or the fairing though!

Pete

Put the same ones on my bro in laws bike in blue. You can cut them every 3 lights and solder wires onto them and make more "pods" of lights so you can have more locations (points of lights). Used them for accent lights and they look great. Did accent lights on mine with some that are similar and they also look good. Havent had any trouble even though they were cheap. One plus to them they are real easy to hide. I also put them behind my speaker grills to light the speakers. The pics dont do them justice look much better in real time.

I bet that dash is a real trip at night! Sweet, and I like the wheel placement too; might have to get a couple more strips for mine.
