I"ve had a set of those for about 3 weeks. They haven't quit yet. Look close and you can see them on the back of my saddlebag rail. Not lit, master fuse removed. They're bright.

I dont have pics but I can tell you round about where i put them. I have two at each side of the bottom of the tank close as you can get them to the seat, two at each side of the bottom of the tank close as you can get them to the front of the tank and still be facing down, One behind the A/C on the on the backing plate facing down, one behind horn cover on the horn facing down, two on the front fender bracket (one on each side) where the bracket is at a 45* angle, one on each rear fender support bracket on the front side facing forward and down. You might want to hook one up and just move it from spot to spot to see where it supplies the best light and the best place to be hidden. anyways i hoped that helped a little and didnt totally confuse you cause it confused the heck out me.

Thanks and yeah the ones on the front wheel will look awesome on your polished rotors and chrome spoke wheel. Nice Heritage.

Trickin,
How do/did you tie them all together? I want to put some accents on but not sure how it all comes together!
What do you use to secure the wires to the frame with when you run them along the frame and stuff?
Thanks buddy!
Pete

Any pics..

you'll like them, thats what i have and they are brighter than most others ive seen. plus you can cut them into 3 light strips but you'll have solder new leads to them. i have mine tied into a music interface.http://s989.photobucket.com/albums/a...t=P1140007.flv

Psycho,
How do you tie all these strips together?
Any pics would be awesome! I want to do this but not sure how to tie all the
wires together.
What do you use to secure the wires to the frame while making the wire runs?

Thanks buddy

Sorry Pete I dont have pics and not sure that you would be able to see as everything is really hidden. The wires from the ones on the tank, A/C, and horn run to the center of the bottom of the tank where the main harness is (have to lift tank just a little). Just slid them through the factory zip ties. Ran them to under the left side cover to tie them all together. The ones on the front wheel ran the wires up the brake lines to the inner fairing. Pulled power from aux. power in the fairing and installed switch. Tied all the wires together by soldering them and using heat shrink to seal them. All the wires are very small as there is not alot of current draw and are very easy to hide. A few places I used the small zip ties to tie them to the main harness. There are several ways to run them depending where you want to put your switch. This all sounds confusing but it is really simple and a great mod if you like accent lights. I will see if I can get some pics tomorrow. Anyway good luck Pete and if you have any questions shoot me a pm and I will be glad to help.

Brian,
How did you get the speaker grills and guages blue? Do you have LED's on the speaker grills and guages?

I put LED light strips around the inside circumference of the spacer that goes between the speaker and the grille. The speaker grills are not the original clothe covered grilles they are metal mesh grills that I made from some speaker covers i had laying around. It still works with the original covers just not as bright. The clothe shields more light. And yes I changed the LED's in the speedo and tach and put superbright LED's in all the other gauges.
