Corbin Classic Solo.........Street Glide
I have decided to sell the Corbin Classic seat I purchased a month or so ago. Just cannot get used to it after riding the Sidekick for 3-4K miles......... Will take $350 shipped and insured, original seat cost was $499 + shipping from Corbin. Reason for such a discount is it appears that one of my spoiler light plugs, that tuck under the seat, rubbed against the bottom of the seat. Not at all noticable unless you flip the seat upside down. If interested, shoot me a PM and I'll foward photos.

Alamo, I'll be honest, its a different ride, when compared to a HD seat. The gel is very firm to begin with, but I have been assured by many that it will break in over time. I am 6'0 and it sits me up a little more than the Sidekick seat I have been running. I'm not hurting for money or trying to pawn off a bad product, but its just not for me. My current seat is slim and I do feel it over a long haul, but enjoy my bike more when riding with the Sidekick on. May be the miles I've put on it, or may just be the shape of my butt. Its a nice seat, I bought it over the Hollywood Solo for the backrest option, but like I stated earlier just really love the Sidekick seat[8D].
I'll send you some photos tomorrow.

I have found that peopel either hate or love the corbin - I am on my third Harley since 96 - all have had Corbins on them and you could not pry our Corbin away from us... I am one of the people that Love his Corbin... I will agree, they are not for everyone - Thank God we are all different.

I put a Corbin Classic solo on my 99 Fatboy and hated it for the first 500 miles, then gradually started to like it more and more. It now has about 30k on it and I won't go back. Great looking seat, and once it breaks in it really does contour to your butt and gives good support.
I had planned on putting a Corbin on my SG but the stock seat is so comfortable I think I'm going to keep it. This will be first for me not to change a stock seat on a Harley.
Anyway, if you can get through the break-in period of a Corbin, it's worth it.

I've been thinking about a solo seat for my 06 Street Glide. Do you have any pictures of it on your bike? If you still have the seat I would appreciate it if you could shoot some pics over to my email when you get a chance.
Thanks!
