Here's a pic of the issue I am having:
The sending unit came out with no problem; but the reducer bushing remained and there is much to "grab" onto.

Tried to call Rodger McEwan, I found an old thread that had his phone#, but I don't think he is in business any longer...just my f'ing luck. There has got to be a way of getting this bushing out.

tap an easy out into it, it'll come right out, then run a thread chaser back thru it

Looks completely different then the sending unit that came with mine.

Mine had a normal flat electrical type connector, not a bolt on electrical connection.

One piece.
