Been looking for a shorter one, but can't pin it down. Wondering if anyone knows the what I should get, and where I should get it. Also, is it possible to get GPS unit to interrupt radio while playing music? Right now I just have earphone from the unit to my helmet with radio playing in background, I can connect it to my radio but then it plays on AUX with no music. I'm riding a 2010 Ultra Limited. Thanks.
I bought an angled 12v charger adapter w/coiled cord on eBay. Its shorter than the 760's adapter, but still touches the tank on full lock. Just gotta be careful when I park the bike.

I know exactly what you are talking about, I have the same Garmin GPS and the 12v adapter has "traffic" something or other in it and is long as hell.

This should help you out!

I have a 760, and use the Garmin power adapter without the traffic receiver. It works fine. Clears the tank. I leave it in all the time. I got a memory card and loaded up a bunch of mp3s on it. Plug the audio out into the aux in on the bike, and I hear music and GPS prompts. Don't have XM on my bike, so I like this better than listening to the radio when we're on the road.

bradleys, I ordered the adapter without the traffic receiver, $13.49 plus $3.97 shipping, hopefully will do the trick, I think the traffic receiver on the old one is the problem. FloridaFLHX, I think this is what you have on your bike, hope so. Thanks.
