Just got done watching the news for the latest snow update. They actually ban motorcycles from any travel. Got a good chuckle out of that, we only have 2 1/2 feet of snow, I guess 2 ft was the limit.

 

I'm sure it was because of some dumb *** that though they would go out for a short Cruz.

 

Its probably stupid reporters and they meant ATV's or maybe even dirt bikes. We actually had cops in a neighboring town threaten to give tickets to people on 4-wheelers for PLOWING SNOW!! They were not raising hell, they were simply using their big 4wd quads to push peoples driveways! WTF!!!!

 

We just got eight inches here in central Ark and the news had a shot of a guy riding his scooter around. As for the four wheelers we don't go after them as long as they're not being reckless or tearing up other peoples property.

 

I would like to see that in court.

But I bet is was not a ban, but a closure for certain types of vehicles, and 'we the people' have alloud (no SP error <grin>) that to happen. We allow them to close roads to certain types of vehicles as long ago as the 60's - but it was mostly for 2WD idiots getting stuck.
