This is how I chose to respond to the boat offer:
I am extremely interested in this boat. I just received a check from Nigerian Royalty in the sum of $10,000.00. I am willing to send you the check and wait one week for the check to clear your bank, then you can send the boat and the $5,000.00 back to me (you can keep the extra $500.00 for your troubles). Please let me know where to send the check and I will mail it immediately.
I understand the eBay shipping center is very reliable and I expect I will receive the boat within 2 weeks via UPS ground. Please confirm they will use plenty of packing peanuts to be sure to prevent shipping damage to the hull.
I have yet to get a reply!

One of my coworkers saw a Jeep ad a few weeks back....much the same story, other than in storage in Soledad, Ca. LOL...he emailed the 'guy' to have some fun....the guy responded with the same type email as listed here. On the 2nd correspondence, they told him...."This is NOT how the game is played!" End of emails. Ad disappeared the next day.
Yall recon some are that 'dumb'?
