Default I want my inner fairing painted

I want to get my inner fairing and cap painted, vivid black, does anyone know or trust anyone to spray it? I am buying a inner fairing and cap from a member. He lives on the east coast and I live on the west coast. So if there is a place, I can have him ship it there and I can save time and money having it shipped there first.

Also, since I'm adding this HD fairing to my RK, do I need to have anything else painted? Any other fairing pieces I need to buy to have painted as well? I looked at my parts book, and I don't see a radio bezel of any sort. I do see speaker grilles. I just don't want to get the two pieces painted and then find out I forgot a few pieces.

Thanks for any info & help.

you will probably be better off finding someone local for this job.too much probability of it being damaged in shipping after the paint job.just my 2 cents.

I did just call a local painter and he said about $150. My other question still stands; Are there any small parts to the fairing I may have missed. I only have the inner and cap pieces, and never owning a fairing bike before, just wanted to make sure I have everything needed when I take it to the painter.

You will also need the cap that is around the ignition switch which, that is if you are including this with your swap.

Also, you can make your speaker grilles out of some grille cloth and an old speaker grille. Very easy to do.

Inner fairng and cap should be it as far as inner fairing is concerned. $150 is a decent price btw.

150 seems about right. You don't want someone boxing up a freshly painted part and shipping it out. Too much chance for damage.
Find a shop with a good reputation for quality work, and have it done there. You could also call Latus and ask them for a recommendation.

Don't know which parts book you are using, but other than the inner fairing and fairing cap, the only other plastic parts are the idiot light bezel (small black plastic oval-shaped piece that surrounds the idiot lights), and the black plastic blanks used to fill unused switch locations in the fairing cap.

Good luck with your project.
