I have an 06 Ultra that was made prior to Feb 06 and just received a letter from MoCo indicating that I should contact the dealer to replace the fork mounted ignition switch. The letter says that this is not a safety issue but that the replacement ignition switch will feature reduced complexity of operation and will reduce damage potentially caused by operator misuse....the letter is dated 6/23/06. This applies to all FL touring models with this switch made prior to 2/15/06.
