Default Lrs

I got a 10" a couple of weeks ago. It fit with my 3 bag but was a little tight. I think that was more from the bag than the windsied. I have ridden but not very far. It is way less wind than with my stock shield. I wish this suck weather would end. It is not suppose to be like this in NC. I look forward to taking a long ride with it and see how I like it. I got mine on special for 69.99 including shipping.

Seems it was two Thursday's ago when it was offered as a trial for the first ten orders with $30(?) off the $119 price. There were so many orders it was extended until midnight that day.

You nearly doubled the size of your winshield, 4" to 7 1/2" you should feel less air.

To address the ongoing debate on "wind buffeting" (and please don't respond to this with the worthless "wind in your face" remarks, I'm talking about "BUFFETING"...or, the wind violently moving your helmet about, and causing headaches and or blurred vision!).

We need more posts like this for comparison, it

If I may make a suggestion...

When Jim finds a combination that works, but may have a different seat than Billy Bad A$$ (different height/set back etc) we should ask that they take a measurement from a stationary point like the frame up to the top of the helmet. Because the one part of the equation that will never change is the top of the shield and the frame.

This will help others to narrow in on a better starting point when looking for a shield, rather than buying several.

I got the 10" light gray tint, looks like it comes back toward you instead of up, looks like a better material product than OEM, rode for most of the day with it. As soon as I got home I took it off and put the Stock OEM shield back on. Contacted Matt, told him "buffering" more than the OEM, felt like I was behind a truck for the whole ride. I like to be able to see thru the shield but was looking over it. When I tried to look thru it, the view was distorted, making straight lines look crooked. The wind was hitting me right in the middle of the face.
I am 5' 6" with a 32 inseam, have the stock seat. I sent it back that Friday and Matt said he would send me the light gray tint flip up shield 10 inch. So will see if that works better or may have to stay with the stock shield.
Matt at LRS works great with you, always got back with me, nothing bad to say about his company.
