Default fairing Going to the painter need some advice

I got My fairing Going to the painter tommarow, I am goin to paint the little oval that goes around the indecator lights , My main question is to paint the mirrors, JUst tha back of the mirrors or the hole thing, but if I paint the hole thing whill the paint crack with movement of the mirrior... Just unsure I searched and searched I couldnt find any one that did it ... Got any pictures ar advice .. Thanks People

If you paint the whole mirror, what use would the mirror be? Or am I misunderstanding you. As for the oval around the indicator lights, I don't get that either. I assume you mean the little itty bitty piece that snaps in which holds the indicator lights? Here is a pic of my painted inner fairing.

Sorry for the un Clear ness I was in a hurry when I typed it, The oval around the blinkers and oil press,high beam, Neutral light, I planned on painting that,.. As far as the mirrors I ment not the glass but the back sides of them and the stem that mounts to the fairing..thanks and your fairing looks good the 105th color!

The fairing mounted mirrors can be painted; mine were. You just need to have the painter avoid the areas that are involved when the mirrors are moved. I don't have a decent pic of the back of mine and, in hindsight, there is more that could have been safely painted. But the mirror sides and the area behind the mirror surface is painted on mine; the portion that connects to the fairing is not painted:

You're welcome. I removed the mirrors from the inner fairing; the painter did the masking. The idiot light bezel was removed from the inner also, and painted separately.
