Security system lamp comes on after new battery install

Security system lamp comes on after new battery install
OK, my battery went totally dead in my 2005 RKC. Today, I replaced it with a brand new HD battery. I started the bike, and the first thing I noticed is the little red security lamp comes back on after a few seconds of running, then turns itself off.
This never happened before, and I'm lookiing for some feedback.
