Default Whick Chock HF Lift

Which chock is the best for the 1000lb Harbor Freight MC lift? Seems there are several options and all of them are in use by different members here. If HF doesn't sell out of the lifts, I think I have talked myself into buying one. Just wondering which wheel chock to go with. So opinions please....

Mr... I tell you right now if you buy the foot pump (Reg. $399) with a $279 Coupon available online and in Baggers Magazine... you won't be disappointed. You'll need to trash the vise tire clamp and use a 20% coupon for the $40 someodd wheel chock - drill and mount it on the lift and you'll think you died and met a 21yr old named William S. Harley and his childhood friend Arthur Davidson and his brother Walter Davidson (weird right?). But the lift is great. Search "All posts by USMCBAY" and you'll find a thread about my lift and some feedback from others.

Get the lift... Get the Chock. No need to spend more than $350 for ANY setup. JMHO~!

Either one should work, I use the ones Dawg posted on my trailer. I have the one mentioned in the other thread on my table.
Haven't had a problem with either since I got the setting right for our bikes.

The only reason I didn't get this chock is because I was worried that my chrome disc cover & light rings would connect. Looks like a good one though.

I have the same set up on my HF lift .I liked it at first it holds the bike steady but it's a pain in the *** to get the bike off of the lift .It takes two people one to hold the lift from sliding and another to rock the bike out of the chock.
The other thing it’s a tight fit on the front tire and if you use a service jack on the lift the tire gets hung up in the chock it could pull the bike off the service jack. It can be done but again it takes another person to help lift and guide the tire out of the chock. So I am looking for different chock. maybe an adjustable one so that I can fit different size tires and loosen and tighten the chock as I see fit like when I want to use a service jack.

I understand what you are saying about getting the wheel out of the chock. I built a "Condor" type chock for the trailer. Works great, but it is hard to back it out of the chock. (it is impossible to get out if you forget and leave it in gear)

There is probably a good reason all the high dollar lifts have a vise like on the link below.

Appreciate everyones input.......Thanks
