Default V&H Twin Slash slipons?

Is anyone here using these? If so,how loud are they? The V&H website doesn't give a lot of information other than to say that there's a quiet baffle available. They show a dyno chart for an '09 FL with Twin Slashes
but no run with stock mufflers or quiet baffles. I don't feel like gambling a few hundred bucks on someone's ad hype.

ordered the twin slash rounds last weekend but they are stuck in maryland because of snow according to ups. I,m matching them up with dresser duals to get rid of the cats on my 2010 I'll let ya know when I get them installed.

i'm also waiting on the twin slash(small) ovals to be installed and tested on my '04 EGC. it's currently getting a 95" kit and wil also get the "quiet baffles"
ryan lewis from V& H was great on the phone and spent a bit of time with me to pick the exhaust.we discussed decibel levels and i'm anxiously awaiting the fire up to hear it for myself.i'll report on the results upon completion.

bought my 2010 Street Glide back in mid december and ordered the SAME EXACT setup (good taste Stonesmith) i have had the Headpipes on for about a month now, but not the mufflers. The mufflers have been on back order since i ordered them in Decemeber. they were supposed to be in on Friday 2/12. Haven't got a call from the dealer yet.

..haven't done much riding with the head pipes cuz the new thing around here is a FOOT of snow every week. Wonder if V&H offers anything for my snowblower???

Hey mike what kind of fuel management did you go with for the dresser duals/twin slash set up ? I ordered the power commander V but I haven't found a map for my exact set-up with big sucker AC .I plan on installing it all myself then having it dyno tuned. +1 on the snow, like that here in Indiana too and more coming tonight

I have a set of V&H tru duals and the slash cuts on my 1500 vulcan nomad and they are alittle louder than my Ultra with the screaming eagles on it if that helps

Ok, installed the dresser duals with twin slash round slip-ons yesterday sounds really good although a bit loud inside garage . still too much snow to get out.I will update with pics and a firmer opinion when weather allows

Rolled her outside today to have a better listen, I am very pleased with the sound at idle, much deeper throatier tone than I expected from Vance & Hines. my wife and I could carry on a conversation next to the bike at 2k rpm without raising voices . the driveway is still too treacherous to get out but I will update asap.

V&H describes the baffle as "mechanical"; is it straight thru and louvered, or is there a plate? What's the core diameter?

Stonesmith, pipes look good. Hows the sound when you twist it, do they have some bite. I was looking at those for my roadglide.
